BORN TO SUFFER

Is this the whole life we came?
Or behind tomorrow is another frame,
Excuse me papa, pardon me momma
Sometimes it breaks my mind like an hammer,
This unquestionable God is whom we can't question,
But why do we have to breathe all our breath in tension?
Or, are we really borne to suffer?

Daily we keep struggling till the sun lost its ray
With us, everyday is just like the other day,
To success, we keep labour for its hem so pretty
Yet, capacity fails us to acquire a key to the city
But, why do we face weakness before we spell greatness?
Why do we have to live in horror and in hatred?
Or, are we really borne to suffer?

All that the politics portrait portrays is evil
Their documents documented no love for the people,
Momma, do you remember that sweet definition of democracy
Now, it's chronicle has become chronically crazy,
But, why can't they for once care about us?
Why do we have to feed on the leftover of their horse?
Or, are we really borne to suffer?

In our pressure; nothing bad is seen
Only our pleasure they name an ungodly sin,
Wealth is from God, money lies beneath Lucy's finger
To become rich, they preach us not to be eager,
But why do we have to stay in hunger amidst meals
Why is our pocket so handicap to settle it's bills?
Or, are we really borne to suffer?

Papa, to realise, roll your motor in a reverse way
You'll notice today as tomorrow, in which we built hope yesterday,
That last night of agony may not reign forever, we dwell in fear
Now it's done down to dawn, all we have to offer this wanting mouth is our tears,
But why do we have to spend all our lifetime in mourning?
Why can't we taste a little joy in the morning?
Or, are we really borne to suffer?

This episodic race of life that we've been considerate of borders
So slow, so fast we've been overtaken by others,
This episodic race of life, can't we rerun?
Must we die on the track, can't we return?
Why do we have to become weaker, can't we be fit?
If it seems not to favour us, can't we just retreat?
Or, are we borne to suffer?
