LETTER TO MY UNBORN CHILD

If it's impossible to know where your tooth was first shown
I tell you won't know which grave your body shall be thrown,
Each time you want to ease your mind in sleep
Whisper to the Lord your soul to keep,
In case you die before you wake
That your soul may be committed for Lord to take,
In every of your steps, day of death you must keep in mind
The reason am writing this- to my unborn child.

Occurrences occurred, matters arose, some issues I've seen
But a less me couldn't help, may God forgive me because inability is a sin,
Be always ready to help, be strong in every ramifications
World is a war front, courage is the only  ammunition,
Every moment is ever ripped to start good
Grab opportunities, never be a dumb goof,
Start thinking differently since you descend from mum's heaven,
Seek advice from your elders, but life is but deceit- be careful!

To your own mis/furtune you're the architect
Sadness is a choice, but you can decide happiness,
This round object tosses on give and repay
Never stop loving, even when you're abandoned like a decay,
There's no limit to what you can achieve in life
You can succeed ten time before the count of five,
Never settle for less, journey to your success city
Life is an highway race, overtaking is allowed  only backwardness I pity.

I am my mummy's reflection, daddy's shadow
I was named “Babatunde", for I came shortly after the sovereign soil took grandpa for swallow,
Though they are fashioned with good hearts
But you can't recognise theirs in my own acts,
No qualms if you want to be like me, as a dad
But, dear unborn child, never follow my path of the dark,
You're a complete being yourself
To complete your book, you need no page from anybody's shelve.

No human worth your trust, not even your pastor
I'm truly a believer, but maybe tomorrow I'll believe the tale of rapture,
Do not follow any congregation in a religious fight
The real God you can't fight for, face your own plight,
Truly if it's not making money, it's not making sense
But never play games of noon-world, it's meant to dense,
In all ways, learn to be outstanding and be wise
Let your black be black and white be white.

Life is all about Genesis, exodus of the revelation is the end
Never be depressed when you notice your worse enemy to be your best friend,
You dig deep to find precious things in life truly
Dear unborn child, take heed, never you be unruly,
Don't beg for attention or things of emotion; demand it!
Never beg for friendship, relationship; deserve it!
Life is too broad to be with everyone
It takes enmity walk to know the metre of a friendly run.

It's surely not going to be easy like sucking of milk
But if you have what other lacks; try to be meek,
Never be depressed by country's err, education is the key
A big virus is ignorance, your intellect it'll kill,
Be skillful at early stage to discover your talent
Be fashionable to earn prestigious stars for your garment,
On a temporary feelings, never make a permanent decision
Neither be too wise, nor be fool, follow mum's good description.

The ways of life is about up and down
It's meant for you alone, dash out not your crown,
Fear not, he who lives must someday leave
Never be overwhelmed by the death's grief,
To cut throats its sword has been made sharpen
Be conscious not to be part when that happens,
If you hear “Ba!" be bold to look twice before the completion of the “Back"
World people are like dogs, never be frightened when they bark.

Good is never good where best is the best, always be a winner
Never panic, never shiver like a roaring river,
My name I have been polishing like an ancient epistle;
Beware! Don't shot it a stain, ever never pull a pistol!
Behind presidency; a filthy rag, some currencies speaks better than dollars
Politics is good though, only the bloody ones for dullards,
Above all dear unborn;
Do your best and never leave the best undone.

I pray where others are cowardly shifting
May you be unchallengeably sitting,
You shall run where they crawl
Your foot shall step the apex and not fall,
In life may you be standard
Where others stand seemly hard,
But these I have said to you; keep it in mind
To my unborn child...
